Overview
Faz3at E5tebar is JoFunction's exam-preparation product, built around the days immediately before a test.
The challenge
Designing for urgency without making the experience frantic. Under time pressure, more options are worse than fewer, and anything that adds a decision costs the user directly.
Strategy
Prioritisation is the product. The app's job is to answer one question — what should I look at now — and to keep answering it as the remaining time shrinks.
Design
High-contrast, dense and fast to scan. Nothing decorative competes with the material, and every screen is readable at speed on a phone late at night.
Engineering
Content is modelled against exam structure rather than chapter order, so prioritisation can be computed rather than curated by hand.
Outcome
A study product shaped by when it is used, not by when it should be used.
